Book your place in this Overbust Corsetry Course and learn how to make your own steel-boned genuine overbust corset. The focus of this class is learning how to perfect bust fit as well as a more in-depth look at refining corset fit overall. At the end of this corsetry course you’ll have a custom fitted corset (made with a single layer of coutil and fully lined) and personalised VanyanΓs pattern to keep. You’ll gain the confidence, knowledge and inspiration to build on your success and make more corsets on your own. Receive expert guidance from an industry professional in a fun, warm environment in Wellington, New Zealand. All shapes, sizes and ages welcome!
- Dates: Sunday’s 1, 8, 15, 22 November 2020 (4 days)
- Times: 10am β 5pm each day (26 hours of tuition)

261 Thorndon Quay, Pipitea, Wellington 6011, New Zealand - Price includes: materials and pattern required to make your overbust corset (you will need to bring your own cotton lining)
- Refreshments included: tea, coffee and biscuits
- Experience: you must intermediate to advanced sewing skills or have previously attended one other VanyanΓs corsetry course
- Small class size: 3-6 attendees
- Payment in full must be received prior to course commencement
- We will contact you closer to class commencement so you can select your coutil fabric from the available options
- There will be some homework to complete during the weeks between class sessions.

Ruby Underbust Corset
Ready to Wear, CorsetsThe Ruby Underbust Corset is a luxurious, limited edition design from our first ready-to-wear corset collection. Featuring exquisite black lace that has been carefully cut and sewn to best accentuate your curves. The lace is laid over a deep red satin and the corset is bound with a decadent silk duchess binding and laces up with a soft satin ribbon.
One of the trademark features of aΒ VanyanΓs corset is the sleek silhouette and smooth, wrinkle-free finish on the fabric. The Ruby Corset is made with the best materials we could find (including a European coutil strength layer, German steel black busk and the most luxurious satin ribbon lacing).
