Postage and Handling

Postage and handling rates are calculated at checkout, depending on your shipping address. We ship worldwide (with some exceptions).

We are only able to ship to the UK if your order is $270AUD / £135 or more (excluding shipping costs).

If you are ordering from overseas, please be advised that your country may charge you import fees. Any such fees are payable by you. Please contact your customs office directly to determine if (and how much) any fees may/will be.

Occasionally orders can get lost or damaged in transit (despite our careful packaging). In this unlikely event we will be available to help. For higher value orders, we do recommend insuring for the value of your order.

Currency

The products listed in our online shop are priced in Australian Dollars (AUD) and payments are processed in AUD.

Our online courses are listed separately to the main shop, and are listed and processed in USD (the different currency is clearly marked).

If you are browsing the site and cannot see a currency written explicitly then you can safely assume it is in AUD.

A currency converter is available on the right (you’ll see a small circle with “AUD $” inside – click it and you can change the currency you view – payments will still be processed in AUD).

You can purchase if you are internationally based. Vanyanís ships world wide (with some exceptions).

Accepted Payment Methods

Australian customers can pay via Direct Deposit, PayPal or Afterpay. International customers can pay using PayPal or Afterpay. You can pay using a credit card at checkout, even if you do not have a PayPal account.

Afterpay

We are happy to offer Afterpay on the majority of products in our store. When you use Afterpay, you’ll pay in 4 interest-free instalments, and there are no late fees when you pay on time. How it works is the first instalment is due when you checkout, and the following instalments are due two weeks apart from then. Afterpay pay us in full straight away, so we can ship your order before you’ve finished paying it off!

Afterpay cannot be used for any made-to-order or customized products (like our Valentina Jewellery Collection). It is also not eligible to be used on deposits for any product or service we may offer.

If you would like to use Afterpay but some items in your order are not eligible, we ask that you please place two separate orders so that the order you check out with with Afterpay only contains eligible products. Even though Afterpay may be ineligible on some products, there is currently no website functionality to prevent you checking out with Afterpay for these products (sorry!). Unfortunately, if any items are not eligible for Afterpay we will cancel and refund your order.

For items that are not eligible for Afterpay we are happy to offer a Payment Plan directly with us (see below).

Payment Plans

We are happy to offer payment plans for our bespoke commissions at no additional charge. Please let us know during the consultation phase if you would like to arrange a payment plan so we can set dates and amounts for payment by installment.

For some products in our store (that are not eligible for Afterpay) we are able to offer “pay by installments” for an small additional administration fee. On products we offer in-house payment plans, you will see a “Deposit” or “Pay in Full” button on the product page. Select “Deposit” to initiate a Payment Plan with us.

You will not receive your order until it has been paid for in full.

If payment is late by 14 days we reserve the right to deem the order cancelled. Any payments/installments paid up until that point will not be refunded and may not count as “credit” towards future orders or bookings.

‘Online Course’ payment plans:

If you are late paying an installment, you have a ‘grace’ period up until the 14th day. At 14 days passed the due date, your course access will be suspended. If, after 30 days we have still not received your payment then you will lose access to the course. Any payments/installments paid up until that point will not be refunded and may not count as “credit” towards future orders or bookings. If you want to access the course after this you will need to purchase it again. Please ensure that you have added our email sales@vanyanis.com to your address book so invoices and payment reminders do not go to spam.

PayPal Pay Later

Similar to Afterpay, PayPal Pay Later is a payment option we offer that allows you to split your purchase into smaller payments and pay it off over time. PayPal pay us straight away so you won’t need to wait to finish paying off your order before we ship it!

In-Person Class Cancellations

Class fees are unfortunately non-refundable. Your class ticket may be transferred to an alternative class date provided cancellation is one month or more prior to the original class date. There is a $110 transfer fee. You may only re-book once before your class fee is void. If no alternative class dates are scheduled, your class ticket will remain “on hold”. You may use the ticket once a new class is scheduled. “On hold” tickets are valid for nine months from date of original purchase.

Cancellations within one month of class date are completely non-refundable. You may transfer your class ticket to a friend if you are unavailable to attend, provided you notify us 48+ hours prior to the event and you pay the $110 transfer fee).

Vanyanís reserves the right to cancel or postpone a course up to 7 days before the event. In this event an alternative date or full refund will be offered. It is very rare that we would cancel a class.

In the event of a Covid-19 lockdown or government imposed restrictions that prevent a class from going ahead your ticket will be “on hold” until the course can be rescheduled (when it is safe to do so).

By purchasing a ticket for one of our classes you are agreeing to this cancellation policy.

Private Tuition Cancellations

Private tuition fees are unfortunately non-refundable. 50% of your lesson cost may be used against an alternative lesson date provided cancellation/rescheduling is 48 hours or more prior to the booked class time/date. You may only re-book once before your total fee for the lesson is void. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice are completely non-refundable.

Vanyanís reserves the right to cancel or postpone a lesson up to one day before the event. In this event an alternative date or full refund will be offered.

In the event of a Covid-19 lockdown or government imposed restrictions that prevent a lesson from going ahead your tuition fee will be “on hold” until the lesson can be rescheduled (when it is safe to do so).

By purchasing a ticket for one of our lessons or term packages you are agreeing to this cancellation policy.
